The teacher's role
A guide, not a provider of right answers
The teacher should not choose for the student or treat the results in Career Compass as a definitive answer. The role is to ask good questions, create reflection and help the student explore more possibilities.
To succeed with this, the teacher needs to understand the pedagogy, the progression and the teaching resources in Career Compass.
That is why at least one responsible teacher or counsellor at the school must complete a relevant introductory course before the solution is used in teaching.

- how student results are used as a basis for reflection
- how the teacher supports the student without giving answers
