Career Compass is built for young people. We take privacy seriously and process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Norwegian law.
Synchrocity AS is the data controller for personal data collected through Career Compass. Contact: post@synchrocity.ai.
We only process data necessary to operate the service: name, school affiliation, the student's answers and reflections in the tool, and technical data required for operation and security.
The data is used to give the student a personalised learning journey, to give the teacher a basis for guidance, and to improve the pedagogical quality of the service.
Processing is based on an agreement with the school owner and, where relevant, consent from the student or guardian.
We never sell personal data. Data is only shared with the school the student belongs to, and with data processors we have agreements with for secure operation of the service.
Data is stored for as long as the student uses the service, and is deleted when the school owner terminates the agreement or upon request.
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, and data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority. Requests can be sent to post@synchrocity.ai.
We read the country code from your IP address only to suggest an appropriate language. The IP address itself is not stored.
