For school owners we can set up a dedicated introductory course as an in-person session for all teachers and counsellors who will use Career Compass, giving everyone one shared start.

We tailor the content to your municipality's or county authority's own practice: how you organise educational choices, work placements and career guidance today, and how Career Compass can build on that.

Oppgave+ for school owners

A shared solution for work weeks, placements, part-time work and summer jobs – across schools.

Oppgave+ is an add-on module to Karrierekompasset, built for school owners that want a more structured and pedagogical follow-up of students' encounters with working life.

The solution can be set up across several schools and makes it possible to establish a shared structure for cooperation between schools, employers and other local actors.

The module requires that the schools already use Karrierekompasset.

With Oppgave+ the schools can:

  • invite local employers to register as placement hosts
  • give students information about the businesses before the work week or placement
  • connect students to relevant occupations and tasks
  • prepare students with reflection tasks and short micro-courses
  • give students a digital overview of tasks and activities along the way
  • follow up experience, reflection and learning after the work week or placement

To ensure quality, the teacher responsible for administering Oppgave+ at each school must complete the relevant introductory course.

A solution built around local working life

Oppgave+ is designed to work across schools and businesses. An employer can register once and be available to several schools within the same municipality, region or county. The solution can be organised as:

  • a shared solution for all schools in a municipality
  • a regional solution for several municipalities
  • a county-level solution
  • a collaboration between schools and local business associations
  • a collaboration with other actors working on the transition between school and working life

This makes it possible to build a local ecosystem where schools and employers cooperate more systematically on work weeks, placements and early contact with working life.

Price and setup

Needs vary between school owners. The number of schools, organisation, cooperation with employers and the need for local adaptation all affect setup and price.
